The Optional workshop theme 'Dove' finished on the 12th of September and many of the members took up the challenge to produce a piece of work in recognition of the International Day of Peace. There are still one or two to add from members who could not attend the evening but these will be added when they are available but here are the finished pieces so far. The International Day of Peace (“Peace Day”) is observed around the world each year on 21st September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.
