As mentioned in a previous post, Pam Harvey had secured an exhibition of her
artwork in the upstairs gallery at Pizza Margherita in Lancaster. The
preview evening which was held held on Tuesday 13th August attracted over 60
people and by the end of the evening 15 pieces of her artwork had already been
sold raising over £800 so far for the charity 'Breast Cancer Now'. The
exhibition runs until the 29th November.
Pam, who has been a member of the Leyland Artists for over ten years, is
gifting all proceeds to the charity Breast Cancer Now. See links at the bottom
of this article.
Pam is a self taught artist with a passion for painting animals both wild and
domestic. She usually starts with the eyes, capturing the soul of the subject
and uses the medium she feels best suits the subject be it pastel,
watercolour, acrylic or graphite. Whenever the opportunity arises Pam
frequents wildlife parks, zoos and even the Alaskan wilderness so she can
observe, draw and photograph her subjects up close.
