Exhibition by Member Pam Harvey

We are so pleased to announce that one of our valued members, Pam Harvey, has secured an exhibition of her artwork for a massive four months in the upstairs gallery at Pizza Margherita in Lancaster, from the 4th of August to the 29th of November 2024. A preview evening where you can meet Pam in person is being held on Tuesday 13th August from 6.30pm.

Pam, who has been a member of the Leyland Artists for over ten years, is gifting all proceeds to the charity Breast Cancer Now. See links at the bottom of this article.

Pam is a self taught artist with a passion for painting animals both wild and domestic. She usually starts with the eyes, capturing the soul of the subject and uses the medium she feels best suits the subject be it pastel, watercolour, acrylic or graphite. Whenever the opportunity arises Pam frequents wildlife parks, zoos and even the Alaskan wilderness so she can observe, draw and photograph her subjects up close.

Having bought and restored the old linoleum warehouse in Moor Lane, Lancaster, Pizza Margherita opened its doors in 1979 and has flourished ever since.
